movin on up, to the east side...

I’m so excited to get started on Baby Blummer’s room. I am a huge fan of Fantastic Mr. Fox, book and movie, and Moonrise Kingdom, so i decided on a theme combing them both! So perfect for a little boy.

I found a large vintage metal lowercase letter “E” and a camping lantern for his room this weekend. And Staslie found some great teepee prints and wooden teepee wall hangings for me at Hobby Lobby that go really well with the theme. Originally his room was going to be the smaller of the three, but we decided to give him what was originally the guest room. The smaller room with the bay windows needs a lot of work so this way we can get started decorating his room a lot sooner. I am purchasing his crib and changing table this weekend from Ikea! With Auntie Staslie’s help I’m sure we will have his room put together in no time! This is how I want to paint one wall in his bedroom.
